Sidney Smith & Weston Jenkins are two incredible men who inspire others for slightly different reasons. If you have not heard of Sid, he is a double amputee who relearned how to walk, swim, run & bike to become an avid hunter and triathlete. Weston started DisabledOutdoorsmanUSA after being inspired by his cousin TJ, who suffers from a similar disease as Sidney, and has made it his mission to make a difference one day at a time through the healing power of the outdoors.
This week we have some very special guests for you. Yancy Baer and Tommy Neuens with Wounded Warrior Outdoors join us to talk about WWO and how much it has changed their lives. Yancy & Tommy are wounded veterans who are making a difference in other veterans lives with every trip they take.
This weeks guest is truly inspiring. What he has overcome in his life is more than most people will ever have to face. Sidney Smith, was born with a rare disease called Charcot-Marie-Tooth, a degenerative nerve disease that has effected him since he was a child.
